I am happy using Goodnotes on iPhone and iPad. However, I can no longer use it on MAC — either my desk top (running Big Sur) or on my laptop (running Catalina).

Goodnotes crashes at startup with the error report:

We’re sorry that GoodNotes failed to launch. Please contact our support team to send us your support ID so that we can investigate and fix the problem.

Support ID: WXX9CM2FYZ

Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (GoodNotesCore.ProjectionError error 0.)

In the past there was the option to send a report to the developer before the programme closed. Now there is no such option.

I have reinstalled etc. a number of times. It would be wonderful to get some advice on what I have done wrong so that I can fix the system so that Goodnotes will run on my Desktop and Laptop. Alternatively, if it is a Goodnotes bug, then it’d be great if the bug could be fixed.

Despite the fact that I am quite invested in Goodnotes on my iOS devices, I’m beginning to wonder whether I should migrate to an alternative platform.
